There are 55 actions for implementation over a 20-year period to be coordinated by the city in partnership with a number of different stakeholders, including Burlington Hydro and Union Gas. Community stakeholder involvement is an important part of this plan, which focuses on the community as a whole instead of just city operations.
An annual progress report will be presented to Council and the plan will be reviewed and updated every four years.
