Here is a list of activities and events taking place during Culture Days 2016 - TBA.
After the success of Burlington Culture Days in 2015, local creative organizations, venues, professionals and businesses are again invited to host events during the seventh annual Culture Days weekend from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, 2016.
This national initiative aims to raise awareness, provide accessibility and encourage participation and engagement in the arts and cultural life of Burlington. The City of Burlington calls for Burlington artists, groups and arts and cultural organizations of all types to participate in Culture Days and offer free interactive arts and cultural activities during these dates.
For more information or to participate in Culture Days, contact Adam Belovari, arts and culture co-ordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 905-335-7600, ext. 7335. If you would like to host a Culture Days event, make sure to register your event now with Culture Days.
Culture Days promotes free, hands-on and interactive activities. The public is invited to participate in behind-the-scenes activities to see how artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, designers, and other creative individuals work and contribute to cultural life in Burlington. Through this exchange, artists and creators have the unique opportunity to engage people of all ages in their creative practice.
