Burlington was awarded a Youth Friendly Community Recognition award from Play Works, the Ontario Partnership for Active Youth. This means our community is youth friendly and we work to give you a place to grow and develop with your friends aged 13 to 19 years. We offer programs and activities so you can play and socialize. Some examples include recreation, sport, leisure, arts, drama, civic engagement, youth activism, volunteerism, social clubs and youth leadership.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped support the Burlington's 2016 Youth Friendly Communities Designation Application. Your support on this project, and your continued dedication to the youth in our community is greatly appreciated.
We want to hear from you.
