Each October, the Burlington Fire Department participates in Fire Prevention Week-a province-wide campaign to increase public awareness about the importance of fire prevention, fire detection and escape.
Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 9 to 15, 2016.
The theme of this year's campaign is: Don't wait check the date: Smoke and CO alarms expire. Replace after 10 years.
Now that the Burlington Fire Department's Station 1 Headquarters renovation is complete, we are celebrating by opening our doors and inviting the public to join us for our annual Fire Prevention Week Open House!
