View Calendar...Celebrate Burlington's History during Heritage Week Aug. 5 to 12, 2023. Heritage Week is a time set aside to celebrate many of the aspects of Burlington’s heritage.A sub-committee of Heritage Burlington is established each year to work in conjunction with the Burlington Historical Society, the Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington Public Library, Burlington Museums, Friends of Freeman Station, Burlington Halton Black History Awareness Society, Beach Canal Lighthouse and David Craig of History Pix, along with a growing list of other area organizations.
All events are free. Events that require registration will open for registration from July 10 to 28 or until events reach limit capacity. Stay tuned for this year's Heritage Week events coming soon to recognize and celebrate Burlington's 150+ years, its Sesquicentennial. We look forward to having you join us for this year’s special events.

The City of Burlington and BurlingtonGreen are hosting Earth Day activities at various locations throughout the city.
Earth Day Tree Planting EventIn partnership with BurlingtonGreen, a tree planting event will take place at Millcroft Park, April 22 starting at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine. Advance registration at burlingtongreen.org is required. Space is limited.
Celebrate Earth Day with BurlingtonGreenResidents can visit the BurlingtonGreen Eco-Hub at Burlington Beach Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. where a variety of fun and family-friendly eco-activities will be taking place: pollinator seed ball making, cycling resources and giveaways, a guided tree walk, shoreline clean up, a repair cafe, e-bike raffle opportunity, and more.
