Canada Post Service Disruption effective Nov. 15

Please be advised mail to and from the City, including Halton Court Services has been impacted by the Canada Post service disruption. To pay a bill, renew your dog licence, receive notices about events and services at the City, please see the information below or contact Service Burlington at 905-335-7777 or city@burlington.ca

Payments to Halton Court Services

In-person payments can be made at Halton Court Services (4085 Palladium Way, Burlington) with cash, cheque, debit or credit card.  Please bring your paperwork and ID with you. On-line payments can be made through www.paytickets.ca, Phone payments can be made by calling 905-637-1274. Any questions can be directed to Burlingtoncourt@burlington.ca

Halton Provincial Offences Court and Administrative Office closed November 13

Halton Court Services Provincial Offences Court and Administrative Office will be closed on Monday, November 13, 2023 in recognition of Remembrance Day. It will reopen on Tuesday, November 14 at 8:30 a.m.

Update on In-Person Court Proceedings

Halton POA courtrooms are open for in-person and virtual proceedings. Effective April 4, 2022, Halton POA courtrooms will have increased access to attend proceedings in person.

Notice to Public Regarding Provincial Offences Act Matters

All Provincial Offences Act in-person matters scheduled from Monday, March 16, 2020 to, and including, Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 will be adjourned and rescheduled to a later date. If you have a matter scheduled during this time, do not attend court. This applies to all POA courts in Ontario. 

A notice of your new court date will be sent to you by mail to the address on file with the court. For more information, please contact your local Provincial Offences court.

Halton POA administration counter services are currently closed due to the Emergency Order in effect in Ontario. Please conduct business online or by phone, where possible. Telephone payments are available at 905-637-1274, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Many online services are also available by email at burlingtoncourt@burlington.ca or by visiting www.haltoncourtservices.ca

All Provincial Offences Act matters (e.g., traffic tickets and offences under provincial legislation) scheduled until Sept. 11, 2020 will be rescheduled. Do not attend court. 

All Provincial Offences Act matters scheduled from Monday, March 16, 2020 through to and including Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 will be adjourned and rescheduled to a later date. If you have a matter scheduled during this time, do not attend court. This applies to all POA courts in Ontario. 

A notice of your new court date will be sent to you by mail to the address on file with the court. For more information, please contact your local Provincial Offences court.
