Burlington, Ont.—April 17, 2018— The City of Burlington is continuing to seek input from the community about the Aldershot, Appleby and Burlington GO Mobility Hubs at a series of upcoming open houses.
After receiving feedback from the community over the last year about high-level draft concepts for the Aldershot, Appleby and Burlington GO Mobility Hubs, the city will present a draft precinct plan for each of these hubs at three open houses. The draft precinct plans provide a vision for the neighbourhood around each Mobility Hub, including directions on future development, residential, commercial and employment land uses, building heights, urban design, open spaces, parks and more.
The input shared by the public on the draft precinct plans will be used to inform the development of an Area-Specific Plan for each of the Aldershot, Appleby and Burlington GO Mobility Hubs.
