Road Closure - Maple Avenue northbound - Fairview Street to Hammond Street

The northbound lane of Maple Avenue will be closed between Fairview and Hammond Streets on Sept. 16 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for construction.
Lakeshore Road Resurfacing – Nelson Avenue to Locust Street, Sept. 9 to November, 2019

The City of Burlington is making improvements to Lakeshore Road from Nelson Avenue to Locust Street. Capital Paving Inc. was awarded the project. The project map, included with this update, shows the planned improvements.

- Lakeshore Road will stay open for this work. The through lane near the ongoing construction will be closed with the centre turn lane used to keep traffic moving in both directions.

Road Closure for Alderfest, Sept. 14, 2019

Alderfest is taking place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event requires the following road closures. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access.
Road closures:
- Warwick Drive, between Francis Road and Warwick Court, will be closed to traffic between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Traffic lane closures:
- All other streets in the area will remain open.
Parking restrictions posted:
- Do not park in restricted areas.
Resident access:
- Emergency services access will be maintained at all times in the event area.
Deer Run Avenue entrance closed Sept. 4, 2019

The entrance to Deer Run Avenue at Upper Middle Road is closed for construction until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019.
Elgin Street Closure on Sept. 12

Elgin Street between Brant Street and Locust Street will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a United Way road hockey tournament on Sept. 12.
Queen’s Head and parking lots at SIMS Square and City Hall will remain accessible.
