Beginning Monday, Sept. 30, a section of King Road will be closed between Plains Road East and North Service Road to allow for underground utility connection work. The closure will be in place until Friday, Oct. 4, 2019.
Local and emergency vehicle access will be maintained up to the closure points throughout the duration of the project. A detour for through traffic will be in place via Plains Road, Waterdown Road, North Service Road.

The 8th annual Appleby Line Street Festival is taking place on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 from 1 to 5 p.m. in partnership with The Amazing Bed Race. The event requires the following road closures. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access.
Road closures:
Appleby Line, between New Street and Fairview Street, will be closed to traffic between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Traffic lane closures:
All other streets in the area will remain open.

Resident access:
Emergency Services access will be maintained at all times in the event area.

Rexway Drive from Maclaren Drive to Woodview Drive will be closed for the installation of a new waste water main until Friday, Sept. 27. Local access will be
maintained.

Between Sept. 10 and Oct. 3, Halton Region is resurfacing sections of Brant Street between the QEW and North Service Road. The road resurfacing work will result in QEW/403 ramp lane restrictions and closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Lane shifts and restrictions on Brant Street are also in place.

The northbound lane of Maple Avenue will be closed between Fairview and Hammond Streets on Sept. 16 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for construction.
