Temporary Lane Closures: Waterdown Road, between North Service Road and Mountain Brow Road, July 22 - 25, 2019

Beginning Monday, July 22 to July 25, the City of Burlington will be conducting minor road repairs on Waterdown Road, between North Service Road and Mountain Brow Road. The work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.

During this work, temporary lane closures will be in place and traffic delays are anticipated.

Road Closure: Rexway Drive at Walkers Line, Monday, July 22, 2019

On Monday, July 22, 2019, Rexway Drive will be closed at Walkers Line to allow for water main construction work. The closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Road Closure: Locust Street, between Elgin Street and City Hall, July 19 and 22

Locust Street, between Elgin Street and the entrance to City Hall, will be closed on Friday, July 19 and Monday July 22, 2019 for crane activity. The closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Local traffic will be detoured along Elgin Street and Ontario Street and access to the City Hall Locust Street entrance will be maintained from Ontario Street.

Road Closure: Amherst Heights Drive - July 17, 2019

Amherst Heights Drive will be closed, between Brant Street and Amherst Heights Court, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 for crane activity. The closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Detour signage will be in place.

Road Closure - Deer Run Avenue

Deer Run Avenue will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019; local access only.

The closure will be from Woodside Avenue to Hunters Wood Drive. 

The closure is so crews can work on the storm sewer which involves digging.
