Road Closure and Traffic Restrictions The Remembrance Day Procession and Service is on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Road closures will be in effect. Vehicles parked illegally in the road closure area will be tagged or towed. Road Closures 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kenwood Avenue from north of Banting Court to South of Bromley Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Oct. 18 and Oct. 20, 2023 for storm sewer and sanitary sewer work. Driveways will be accessible.

Repaving work is being done in/near the intersection of Harvester Road and Guelph Line on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Friday, Oct. 13 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.. The work requires full closures of Harvester Road east of the intersection and west of the intersection at Guelph Line. Guelph Line will remain open during construction for traffic moving north and south through the intersection, with some lane restrictions.

Elgin Street will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, Sept. 27 between Maple Avenue and Brock Street for crane activity. The closure is in place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Access to nearby properties will be maintained. Through traffic will be detoured to Brock Avenue, Ontario Street and Maple Avenue.

The annual Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, Oct. 1, will result in road and lane closures in Burlington. Streets will reopen following the completion of the event. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access.
Road Closures – 10 a.m. to noonResidents along New Street can get access to their driveways to cross the event route by contacting the event organizers at 905-687-6188 before or on event day. An escort vehicle will be sent to take your vehicle through the closed section of the course, subject to delays. Emergency services access will be maintained at all times along the event route.
