Monday, April 23, 2018 until 4 p.m.

Cedar Springs Road near 5672 Cedar Springs Rd. is reduced to one lane until 4 p.m. for geotechnical work.

Temporary Road Closure: Elgin Street March 20 to 21, 2018

Road Closures and Restrictions

Elgin Street between Locust Street and Blathwayte Lane will be closed from Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 5 p.m. to allow for crane activity.

Detours will be in place for local traffic.

Road Closures and Restrictions

The Good Friday Road Race on March 30, 2018 will result in road and lane closures.

Road Closures

  • 8 to 11:30 a.m. - Fairwood Place, in the area directly in front of Aldershot School will be closed to traffic with local access to residences maintained, subject to race delays
  • 9 to 11:30 a.m. - North Shore Boulevard West from Fairwood Place to Unsworth will be closed to through traffic
  • Local access to residents within the closed area will be maintained, subject to race delays. Through traffic on North Shore Boulevard West will be detoured at LaSalle Park Road and at Plains Road West
Traffic lane closures
  • All other streets on the race route will have one lane open for local access

Road Closures and Restrictions

The Around the Bay Road Race on March 25, 2018 will result in road and lane closures.

Road Closures, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • QEW Toronto-bound exit ramp to North Shore Boulevard East. Detour via Fairview Street
  • North Shore Boulevard East, Niagara-bound entry ramp to the QEW. Detour via Fairview Street
  • Plains Road West at York Boulevard. Detour via Highway 6 and 403

Traffic Lane Closures, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

  • Southbound lane of King Road from Plains Road East to North Shore Boulevard East. Local access only. Northbound traffic is not affected
  • Eastbound lane of North Shore Boulevard East and and North Shore Boulevard West from Plains Road West to QEW exit ramp west of Joseph Brant Hospital. Westbound lane open to westbound traffic only
  • Eastbound curb lane of Plains Road West from York Boulevard to North Shore Boulevard West. Two-way traffic will be maintained
