Lakeshore Road between Guelph Line and Walkers Line will be closed from July 4 to December for the replacement of Pine Cove bridge. Due to the age of the bridge and the way it was originally designed and installed many decades ago, there is no way to safely replace the bridge in sections to maintain traffic.
Local access will be maintained but detours will be in place around the bridge construction. Signage will be posted throughout the detour route and construction area.
