Lane restrictions will be in place on Lakeshore Road between Guelph Line and Walkers Line for road improvement construction from April 19 to the end of October, 2023.

A rolling road closure will happen for the Peace Parade, Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. The parade route will be along Queensway Drive, Glenwood School Drive and Brenda Crescent. Please expect a 30-minute delay while the parade passes.
The parade will have a police escort and will begin at 2284 Queensway Dr.

Rosslyn Drive will be closed at 395 Rosslyn Dr. on
Tuesday, April 4, 20238 a.m. to 5 p.m.
for hydro pole replacement. Local traffic and access to homes on the street will be maintained.

The Around the Bay Road Race on Sunday, March 26, 2023, will result in road and lane closures in Burlington from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Streets will reopen as the last participant passes. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access. Traffic on roads next to the race route will experience significant delays. Residents are urged to use alternate routes to minimize congestion surrounding the route area.

King Road will be closed for through traffic between North Service Road and Mountain Brow Road from March 16 to April 12, 2023 for the annual passage of endangered Jefferson salamanders.
Public access will be restricted at the escarpment limits while local access will be maintained up to the closure points.
Since 2012, the City of Burlington has closed the same section of road for the salamanders to cross. They are a nationally and provincially protected endangered species. Learn more.
