Snow Control Update 9 a.m., March 23

Plowing of primary and secondary roads continued through the overnight hours and is now complete. The Snow Event is over and on-street parking can resume.

Sidewalk plowing is underway on the primary and secondary roads.

Snow Control Update, 2 p.m. March 22

A Snow Event has been declared effective 9 p.m., March 22. All on-street parking is prohibited until the event is over.

Vehicles parked on-street during a Snow Event may be ticketed or towed.

Residential roads are plowed AFTER primary and secondary roads are cleared and the snow-fall has stopped. Please give us time to clear the roads. Primary roads are the main East-West and North-South roads. Examples of primary roads include the QEW, Brant Street, Guelph Line, Appleby Line, Dundas Street, Mainway, Lakeshore Road, Plains Road and Upper Middle.

Examples of secondary roads include Spruce Avenue, Sutton, Headon Forest, Millcroft Park Drive and streets within the downtown core.

Snow Control Update, 9 a.m. March 11

The Snow Event is over and plowing of roads is complete. On-street parking can resume as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Sidewalk plowing will continue throughout the day.

Snow Control Update, 4 p.m. March 10

Crews are currently plowing and salting primary and secondary roads. Residential roads and sidewalks are expected to begin overnight.

There is no parking until after the Snow Event is declared over. Vehicles left on the road will be ticketed or towed.

Please do not follow snow plows too closely or pass them when they are clearing the roads.

A Snow Event has been declared beginning at 3 p.m., Friday, March 10. As of 3 p.m. there will be no on-street parking allowed. Vehicles left on the road will be ticketed or towed.
