Road closures will be in effect on Sunday, Dec. 3 for the Santa Claus Parade.
Road Closures 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.No access from 2 to 3 p.m.
The Halton Regional Police Service will supervise all closures and direct traffic at major intersections. Emergency services access will be maintained at all times along the event route.
Downtown Municipal ParkingPlease remember to obey all parking bylaw regulations to avoid being ticketed and/or towed.
Temporary “Emergency - No Stopping“ signs will be posted on various streets. Parking and police officers may ticket or tow illegally parked vehicles to ensure that streets are free and clear for emergency vehicle access.

This winter, get ready to amp up the fun in Burlington. There are many opportunities for everyone to be active outside.
Santa Claus ParadeThe Santa Claus Parade will be held on Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. Beginning at the Burlington Centre, the parade will travel through Burlington streets and finish in downtown Burlington. For more details and to see the parade route, visit burlington.ca/parade.
The parade will feature the Burlington Teen Tour Band, floats, entertainers and Santa Claus. Look for the three recipients of the Burlington 150 float grants (Arts4People Movement, Theatre Burlington and the Burlington Centaurs Rugby Club) and a Burlington 150 float.
Letter carriers will be walking in the parade collecting kids’ letters to give to Santa.
Visitors can also support the community and bring a non-perishable food donation to the parade. The Burlington Teen Tour Boosters will be collecting these donations in support of the Burlington Food Bank.
