Construction notice from Metrolinx: Burloak Grade Separation: Full Weekend Road Closure + no GO train service between Oakville and West Harbour GO Stations Road Closure
Burloak Drive at Prince William Drive to Harvester Road
Friday, May 23 at 8 p.m. to
Monday, May 26 at 6 a.m.
Over the weekend of May 23 to 26, 2025, Burloak Drive will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrians and cyclists. Metrolinx is asking all traffic to use alternative routes during the closure. Access to the shopping plaza at 700-728 Burloak Drive can be accessed from Prince William Drive at all times.

There will be no GO train service between Oakville and West Harbour GO due to Metrolinx corridor improvement work
There will be no GO Transit service at Appleby and Bronte GO stations.

Martha Street will have short-term sidewalk closures and lane restrictions for internet servicing. The closures and restrictions will begin May 13, 2025 and last approximately two weeks. All businesses will remain open.

Prospect Street between Paling Road and Wesley Avenue will be closed from April 28 to June 20, 2025 for sewer and watermain construction. During this time the road will be closed with local access only. Where the contractor is completing underground work, the road will be completely closed with no access through the work zone. The road will be open to traffic at the end of each working day.

Eastbound James Street at Martha Street will be closed April 22-29, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for site servicing work at 2090 James St., Burlington, Ontario. Closure of the right turn lane from James Street onto Martha Street and closure of the right turn lane from Martha Street to James Street will be required to perform the servicing work. East and Westbound traffic on James Street will remain open. Roads will be re-opened outside of working hours and on weekends.
