The Around the Bay Road Race on Sunday, March 27, 2022, will result in road and lane closures in Burlington from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.Streets will reopen as the last participant passes. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access. Traffic on roads next to the race route will experience significant delays. Residents are urged to use alternate routes to minimize congestion surrounding the route area.Road Closures – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

John Street will be closed between Maria Street and James Street on
Tuesday, March 15, 2022
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
for crane activity at 421 Brant St. Access to adjacent buildings will be maintained from Maria Street and through traffic will be detoured around the block.

for hazardous tree removal. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained and through traffic will be detoured along Elm Crescent and Goodram Drive.

Springs Garden Road will be closed between the Woodland Cemetery access and Valley Inn Road
Monday, Jan. 3 until Sunday, March 20, 2022
to replace the pedestrian bridge. All traffic and pedestrian access will be restricted in this area.
Emergency vehicles access and RBG staff access will be permitted in collaboration with the bridge replacement contractor.
