Ontario Street will be closed between Maple Avenue and Nelson Avenue
April 11 - 15, 2022
for excavation work.
Local traffic and access to adjacent properties will be maintained from Maple Avenue only.
Locust Street near Elgin Street Closure

Please be advised that the Trans-Northern Pipeline has started routine maintenance on the pipeline crossing at Locust Street and Elgin Street. A portion of Locust Street, near the Burlington Performing Arts Centre will be closed to traffic.
Garage access will be limited to Locust Street via Lakeshore for the duration of this project.
The construction should last no longer than 30-days with the anticipated completion date well within that timeframe – barring any unforeseen issues.
Delivery accommodations have been made in that area and local businesses have been notified of the changes.

Locust Street will be temporarily closed between Elgin Street and Lakeshore Road
Monday, March 28, 2022 to Monday, April 25, 2022
for excavation works related to pipeline repairs by Trans-Northern Pipeline Inc.
Access to adjacent buildings, including the municipal parking garage, will be maintained from Lakeshore Road and through traffic will be detoured around the block.
Road Closures - Sunday March 27

The Around the Bay Road Race on Sunday, March 27, 2022, will result in road and lane closures in Burlington from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.Streets will reopen as the last participant passes. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access. Traffic on roads next to the race route will experience significant delays. Residents are urged to use alternate routes to minimize congestion surrounding the route area.Road Closures – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- QEW Toronto-bound exit ramp to North Shore Boulevard East. Detour via Fairview Street.
- North Shore Boulevard East Niagara-bound entry ramp to the QEW. Detour via Fairview Street.
- Plains Road West at York Boulevard. Detour via Hwy. 6 and 403.
- North Shore Boulevard closed from QEW ramps to Plains Road - Westbound lane open for emergency vehicles and resident access only. Through traffic not permitted.

7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
for crane activity at 421 Brant St. Access to adjacent buildings will be maintained from Maria Street and through traffic will be detoured around the block.
