Prospect Street from Joyce Street to Pearson Street will be closed July 2 to Aug. 29, 2025 for watermain and waste watermain work. Prospect Street between Robinson Street and Pearson Street will be open to traffic during this time period. Detours and signage will be in place.

Eastbound James Street at Martha Street will be closed April 22-29, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for site servicing work at 2090 James St., Burlington, Ontario. Closure of the right turn lane from James Street onto Martha Street and closure of the right turn lane from Martha Street to James Street will be required to perform the servicing work. East and Westbound traffic on James Street will remain open. Roads will be re-opened outside of working hours and on weekends.

Our street and park tree pruning program is important work that protects and manages our urban forest and provides many additional benefits to our communities including:
