Road Closure - Mainway, Oct. 2, 2021

Mainway between Silvan Forest Drive and Casey Court will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for maintenance work at the CN railway crossing.
Emergency vehicle access will be permitted and local access will be maintained up to the closure points.
Through traffic will be detoured as per attached map.
Martha Street Closure, Aug. 7, 2021

A section of Martha Street between Lakeshore Road and Pine Street will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 7th, 2021 from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. for construction purposes. Local access will be maintained and through traffic will be detoured.
Road Closure: Walkers Line No 1 Side Road to No. 2 Side Road, July 19 & 20

Walkers Line between No. 1 Side Road and No. 2 Side Road will be closed
Monday, July 19, 2021 at 7 a.m. to Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 6 p.m.
for emergency culvert replacement. Local access will be maintained and through traffic will be detoured using Appleby Line.
Lane closures: Walkers Line - Bridge Replacement, until end of August 2021

Walkers Line - Bridge Replacement 1.7 km north of Britannia Road
Bridge work will be staged, west side then east side. Roadway will be reduced to one lane and controlled with a temporary traffic signal.
The new bridge will meet the high water demands from heavy rainfall events and will be constructed with an upgraded traffic barrier and railings. The bridge width will be 1.5m wider on both sides. KAPP Infrastructure Inc. was awarded the Walkers Line Bridge Replacement contract.

Walkers Line is closed at Britannia Road for road construction.
Monday, July 12 to Friday, Aug. 20, 2021
The work includes alignment changes, asphalt renewal, guide rail replacement (east side) and streetlight improvements.
King Paving was awarded the contract for the Walkers Line intersection improvements.
