The Remembrance Day Parade and Service is on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vehicles parked illegally in the road closure area will be tagged or towed.

Wolf Island Bridge on Plains Road West, west of Botanical Drive will have temporary lane closures for traffic in either direction.
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 to Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020
One lane to remain open in both directions at all times.

Brant Street at Lakeshore Road – Oct. 28 - Nov. 1
Brant Street will be fully closed at Lakeshore Road. There will be a road closure sign at Elgin Street and Pine Street with local access to businesses and residential buildings.
Lakeshore Road at Brant Street – Nov. 4 - 8Lakeshore Road at Brant Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
This work is highly weather dependent, so dates will be changed if needed.
Full emergency access will be provided.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 28, the City of Hamilton will close the northbound and southbound lanes of the York Boulevard bridge between Plains Road West and Old Guelph Road between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. for three nights to safely replace bridge bearings.
The work is expected to wrap up on or before Oct. 30, 2019.
Motorists should use alternative routes during this time.
The City of Hamilton thanks motorists for their patience as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.
