Lane Restrictions for Halton Region Road Resurfacing: Brant Street between QEW and North Service Road

Between Sept. 10 and Oct. 3, Halton Region is resurfacing sections of Brant Street between the QEW and North Service Road. The road resurfacing work will result in QEW/403 ramp lane restrictions and closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Lane shifts and restrictions on Brant Street are also in place.

Road Closure - Maple Avenue northbound - Fairview Street to Hammond Street

The northbound lane of Maple Avenue will be closed between Fairview and Hammond Streets on Sept. 16 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for construction.

Lakeshore Road Resurfacing – Nelson Avenue to Locust Street, Sept. 9 to November, 2019

The City of Burlington is making improvements to Lakeshore Road from Nelson Avenue to Locust Street. Capital Paving Inc. was awarded the project. The project map, included with this update, shows the planned improvements.

Road Closure for Alderfest, Sept. 14, 2019

Alderfest is taking place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event requires the following road closures. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access.

Road closures:

Warwick Drive, between Francis Road and Warwick Court, will be closed to traffic between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Traffic lane closures:

All other streets in the area will remain open.

Parking restrictions posted:

Do not park in restricted areas.

Resident access:

Emergency services access will be maintained at all times in the event area.
