The 22nd annual CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, will result in road and lane closures in Burlington. Streets will reopen as soon as possible following the completion of the event. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access.Road Closures: 10:15 a.m. to noon

Sept. 26, 2018: All lanes on Walkers Line are now open. The work to replace the road culvert is complete. Thank you for your patience.

Walkers Line will be closed in both directions between Palladium Way and No 1 Side Road from Sept. 24 to Oct. 5, 2018 for an emergency road culvert replacement.
Local access will be maintained.
Detours for through traffic
Through traffic travelling north on Walkers Line will be detoured along Palladium Way to Appleby Line and then No 1 Side Rd.
Through traffic travelling south on Walkers Line will be detoured along No. 1 Side Road, to Appleby Line and then Palladium Way.

One northbound lane on Maple Avenue, near Elgin Street, will be closed between noon and 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 as Halton Region works to complete an emergency watermain valve repair at 1276 Elgin St.
Water service will be interrupted to approximately four apartment buildings and one home between 454 to 510 Maple Ave. from noon to 8 p.m.

The 7th annual Appleby Line Street Festival is taking place on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 from 1 to 5 p.m. in partnership with The Amazing Bed Race. The event requires the following road closures.

Road closures will be managed under the supervision of the Halton Regional Police Service.

The road closure for culvert replacement work near 6097 Cedar Springs Rd. has been exteneded until Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018.
School buses and emergency vehicles are the only vehicles that will have access to this area.
