Burlington Transit Downtown Customer Service – Moving to Burlington GO Station

We’re Moving – Spring 2025!

The Downtown Transit customer service team will be moving to the Burlington GO Station, 2101 Fairview St., in the spring of 2025. The Burlington Transit customer service team looks forward to continuing to help you in person from their new location, over the phone and by email.

Services available at the Burlington Transit Customer Service location:

  • Inform residents and visitors about Burlington Transit travel. This includes routes, schedules, and connections, including local destinations within the City of Burlington.
  • PRESTO information, including loading and purchasing PRESTO cards.
  • Fare Programs provided by Burlington Transit, including Fare Free for Seniors and youth and low income SPLIT program.
  • One Fare Program information.
  • Lost and Found information for an item(s) you may have left on a Burlington Transit bus.

The Burlington Transit customer serve team will be centrally located on the main level of the Burlington GO Station, Fairview Street entrance.

Happy Holidays from Burlington Transit! Here are our holiday hours from Dec. 23, 2024 to Jan. 2, 2025

Tap and ride on Burlington Transit every day over the holidays. Take the bus to connect with family and friends throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

Specialized Dispatch and Customer Service are closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1. Burlington Transit’s administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25 to Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.

November 2024 Transit Service Updates

Starting Nov. 3, 2024, Burlington Transit is changing some bus schedules. Route 11 and Route 25 will now run every 15 minutes from 6 to 9 a.m. and  from 3 to 6 p.m. We now have six routes that run every 15 minutes or less during weekdays.

Updated schedules

•  Route 2 – weekday schedule changes

•  Route 3 – weekday schedule changes

•  Route 10 – evening schedule changes to improve connections at Appleby GO

•  Route 11 & 25 – 15 min. weekday peak service

•  Route 50, 51 & 52 –  schedule changes

•  Route 52 – additional stop at the Dundas Street GO 407 Carpool Lot

During the national rail strike, use Burlington Transit’s Route 1 to travel between downtown Hamilton and the Burlington GO station. Visit My Ride and click on Route 1 to view Route 1 stops, to plan your trip and see real-time bus locations.

Make Burlington Transit your ride on Canada Day, July 1

Ride BT on Canada Day

Celebrate Canada Day with the family and take Burlington Transit downtown. Take either Route 2, 4 or 10 to get downtown. Visit myride.burlingtontransit.ca to plan your trip and tap your PRESTO card to get to the event. Children and seniors ride for free.

Mainway Arena Shuttle

Park your car at Mainway Arena, 4015 Mainway, and use the free shuttle to Downtown. The shuttle operates from 12 to 11:30 p.m. from Mainway Arena to the Downtown Terminal, 430 John St.
