Celebrate Canada Day with the family and take Burlington Transit downtown. Take either Route 2, 4 or 10 to get downtown. Visit myride.burlingtontransit.ca to plan your trip and tap your PRESTO card to get to the event. Children and seniors ride for free.

Mainway Arena Shuttle

Park your car at Mainway Arena, 4015 Mainway, and use the free shuttle to Downtown. The shuttle operates from 12 to 11:30 p.m. from Mainway Arena to the Downtown Terminal, 430 John St.

About the Burlington Transit Summer Youth Pass:
  • Only available at the Downtown Transit Terminal at 430 John St.
  • Valid for unlimited travel on Burlington Transit only.
  • Cannot be used on other transit systems.

Youth ride for free on weekdays after 6 p.m. and on weekends. Visit burlingtontransit.ca for more transit information.

We’re open on the weekends!

Starting on Sunday, Feb. 4, the Downtown Transit Terminal will be open every Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by to:

  • get transit information,
  • load or purchase your PRESTO card, or
  • ask about an item you may have left on the bus.

NEW Downtown Transit Terminal Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Downtown Transit Terminal is closed on holidays.

Route 11 is moving to a new platform at the 407 GO Carpool Lot

Starting Jan. 6, you’ll be catching Route 11 Sutton-Alton on platform number 5 at the 407 GO Carpool Lot. This means that both Route 11 Sutton-Alton and Route 25 Walkers will share the same platform. Please check your bus number before boarding the bus.

  • Platform 4, GO Transit
  • Platform 5, Route 11 Sutton-Alton and 25 Walkers
  • Platform 6, Route 6 Headon
  • Platform 7, Route 2 Brant and Route 3 Guelph
  • Platform 8, Oakville Transit

When you dial 905-639-0550, you have new menu options to choose from to connect you to the information you need:

  • Press 1 to use a dial by name directory to reach City staff
  • Press 2 to connect to our real-time bus arrival information using your bus stop ID number
  • Press 3 to book your trip on our specialized buses
  • Press 4 to speak to a customer service representative at the Downtown Transit Terminal, 430 John St.
  • Press 5 to hear the Downtown Transit Terminal hours of operation and location
