Starting on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, Burlington Transit will be increasing weekday service on Route 4. Buses will leave the Aldershot GO Station every 30 minutes from 7:25 a.m. to 5:25 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Buses will leave the Aldershot GO station every 60 minutes from 5:25 to 7:25 a.m. and 5:25 to 8:25 p.m. on weekdays. There is no change to weekend or holiday service hours.
As a reminder, changes were made to the Route 2 and 3 connections at 407 Carpool lot earlier this year. During peak times, 3 to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, please get off the bus to transfer between Route 2 and 3. Route 2 does not become Route 3 and Route 3 does not become Route 2.

Since the Province of Ontario lifted the mask mandate for public transit on June 11, 2022, you no longer need to wear a mask on our buses. We still recommend that you do wear a mask, especially when the bus is busy or you’re not able to keep at least 2 metres from other riders.
Please treat each other with respect, tolerance and kindness. We respect the right of each rider to decide whether masking is right for them or not and ask you to do the same.

Traveling on Route 2 and 3
During peak times, 3 to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, customers in the north need to exit their Route 2 or 3 bus to switch routes. Customers can switch between Routes 2 and 3 at the 407 Carpool lot or at Coventry Way and Guelph line (crossing the street). Customers switching between Routes 2 and 3 at the Downtown Terminal can remain on their bus.
