Burlington, Ont.—March 22, 2018— The City of Burlington is looking for passionate volunteers to participate on the Taskforce on Anti-Bullying/Harassment.
The citizen volunteers will be joined by members of Halton Regional Police Service, Ward 6 Councillor Blair Lancaster and City of Burlington staff to address issues related to bullying and harassment in the City of Burlington, both internally and externally. Participants must be available during the day for meetings.
Anyone who is interested can apply by sending a resume and cover letter to Rebecca.mackay@burlington.ca, dropping a resume off at City Hall or mailing to:

Burlington, Ont. – March 21, 2018—The outdoor skating rink on the Burlington Rotary Centennial Pond at Discovery Landing has officially closed for the 2017-2018 season.
Over the next few weeks, City of Burlington staff will begin preparing for the spring when the 10,000 square-foot (929 square-metre) feature transforms into a reflective pond.

Elgin Street between Locust Street and Blathwayte Lane will be closed from Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 5 p.m. to allow for crane activity.
