NEW! Online Disclosure Request Process

For OPP, Halton Regional Police and CN or CP Police cases only:

As of Friday, Jun. 1, 2018 all requests for disclosure must be made online.

What you need to know:

1. This will be the only way to submit a request for disclosure from Halton Court Services.
2. Mandatory fields must be completed for the form to be uploaded.
3. Disclosure will be sent via email. Please provide the email address where you would like the disclosure to be sent.
4. There are instructions on the form to help you upload it to the Prosecution Unit.

Why is Prosecution switching?

Prosecution is switching to one method to eliminate requests with missing information. Requests can be completed more quickly and more efficiently when we have all of the information required to process your request.

This means you get your requests back faster!

À partir du vendredi 1er juin 2018, toutes les demandes de divulgation devront être faites en ligne.

Ce que vous devez savoir :

1. Ce sera le seul moyen de soumettre une demande de divulgation aux Services judiciaires de Halton
2. Pour que le formulaire nous soit envoyé, tous les champs obligatoires doivent être remplis.
3. Le dossier de divulgation vous sera envoyé par courriel. Veuillez indiquer l’adresse électronique à laquelle vous souhaitez qu’on vous envoie ce dossier.
4. Vous trouverez sur le formulaire des instructions pour le téléchargement au bureau du procureur.

City of Burlington looking for volunteers for the Taskforce on Anti-Bullying/Harassment

Burlington, Ont.—March 22, 2018— The City of Burlington is looking for passionate volunteers to participate on the Taskforce on Anti-Bullying/Harassment.

The citizen volunteers will be joined by members of Halton Regional Police Service, Ward 6 Councillor Blair Lancaster and City of Burlington staff to address issues related to bullying and harassment in the City of Burlington, both internally and externally. Participants must be available during the day for meetings.

Anyone who is interested can apply by sending a resume and cover letter to Rebecca.mackay@burlington.ca, dropping a resume off at City Hall or mailing to:

Mild temperatures close Rotary Centennial Pond outdoor skating season

Burlington, Ont. – March 21, 2018—The outdoor skating rink on the Burlington Rotary Centennial Pond at Discovery Landing has officially closed for the 2017-2018 season.

Over the next few weeks, City of Burlington staff will begin preparing for the spring when the 10,000 square-foot (929 square-metre) feature transforms into a reflective pond.

Temporary Road Closure: Elgin Street March 20 to 21, 2018

Elgin Street between Locust Street and Blathwayte Lane will be closed from Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 5 p.m. to allow for crane activity.

Detours will be in place for local traffic.
