Burlington, Ont. – March 14, 2016— An Ontario Municipal Board hearing regarding an application by Adi Developments for a 26-storey condo at 374 Martha St. has been adjourned until March 16.
The developer told the OMB today it has bought the property at 380 Martha Street, and will include that property in its condo development application. The city’s legal team asked for an opportunity to receive instruction from Burlington City Council.
“After hearing the information presented to the board this morning, our legal counsel will be updating City Council before we proceed to next steps,” said City Manager James Ridge.
The city has scheduled a special City Council meeting for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 for a legal update.
The Chair of the OMB hearing asked the City of Burlington to have a response to Adi Developments’ request for adjournment by 3:30 p.m. on March 15. The hearing will resume on Wednesday, March 16 at 10 a.m. in City Hall, Room 247, and is open to the public.
