The Ontario Catholic Teachers’ Association will hold a walk-out for one day on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020. Community rentals will not be impacted.
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario has also announced it will hold a one-day walkout on Thursday, Jan. 23 if a tentative agreement is not reached by then.

Update for Dec. 18: The Rotary Centennial Pond will open Thursday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. Spencer's at the Waterfront is open for lunch and dinner today, Dec. 18.
Burlington’s Rotary Centennial Pond and Spencer’s at the Waterfront are currently closed due to a watermain break that occurred Sunday evening. The Rotary Pond will remain closed as crews identify the extent of the damages and work on the repairs. All recreation skating is cancelled until further notice....

Parents and users of pools and facilities at Haber Community Centre, Aldershot Pool and Centennial Pool should plan to arrive for their programs earlier to give extra time to find parking and enter the buildings as there may be delays from picketing.

The parking lot at the LaSalle Park Community Marina will be closed from Monday, Dec. 16 until 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, as the materials for the installation of the new wave break are delivered.
