You have three options for dealing with a ticket:
This option is available if you do not wish to contest the charge. You must sign the back of the ticket under Option 1 and forward your payment using a payment option . You must pay the full amount indicated in the Total Payable section of your ticket. This includes the set fine, costs, and Victim Fine Surcharge and must be paid within 30 days of receiving your ticket.
This option allows you to select an Early Resolution meeting with the Prosecutor. By choosing this option, you do not give up the right to a trial. Instead, it lets you ask for a meeting with the Prosecutor to discuss the possible resolution of the charge without having to go to trial.
Request for Option 2 may be submitted::
1. Online at Ontario.ca/ticketsandfines.
2. By mail or in person at 4085 Palladium Way, Burlington, ON, L7M 2A6.
You must complete the back of the ticket. Record any change to your address information at the bottom on the back of the ticket.
Note: Your request must be received by Halton Provincial Offences Court within 30 days of receiving the ticket.
