Celebrate the older adults in your life on Oct. 1!
The City of Burlington would like to recognize all older adults for the difference they have made in our families, workplaces and communities on this day of recognition.
We invite you to stay connected to friends or make new friendships by joining in the activities and social circles that interest you! Explore the online, at-home, by phone, and local programs and services that bring vibrancy to your life and keep our community a caring and connected place to live and play. We wish you a very happy and healthy National Seniors’ Day!

Keeping Active |
Adult programs will look different this year, but have been designed to offer the highest levels of quality, safety and a wide range of activities in the remaining weeks of the fall. Program and program times will be standardized to one hour to allow for deep cleaning routines between activity periods. Learn more about our programs. TelePALS provides free over the phone discussion, social and learning programs for adults. Participants can join in Chat Groups, Listen and Learn, Game Shows, Ask the Expert or Listen for Enjoyment programs. Learn more about TelePALS. |
Age Friendly Burlington |
An age-friendly community benefits people of all ages. Neighbourhoods where residents feel connected and secure are safe for older adults. Families experience less worry when their older relatives have access to the services and community supports they need.
