Badminton | ||||
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. |

Basketball | ||||
Basketball is a limited contact sport played on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot a ball through a hoop 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter and 10 feet (3.048 m) high that is mounted to a backboard at each end of the court. |

Cycling | ||||
Burlington's Cycling Committee will take you on a leisurely fully supported ride along the Burlington's beautiful cycling paths. Enjoy the ride at your own pace. New and experienced riders welcome! |

Disc Golf | ||||
Disc golf is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf. The course at Tyandaga has nine holes, starting at tee #1.
This activity is free and open to all Burlington residents of all ages. The course will be open from January 30 to Spring 2021. Please note, this course is not intended for organized team play at this time. Residents will need to bring their own disc or can borrow them from the “Play Equipment Lending Library” (starting Feb. 2, 2021) Disc Golf will be available seven days a week from dawn to dusk. Play Disc Golf at your own risk and be aware of other users. The City of Burlington is not responsible for any injuries, deaths, damages or loss or property for any reason, including its negligence. Play Smart Never throw into a blind area or when players, spectators, pedestrians or other park users are within range. Use a spotter. Respect the Course Observe all posted rules on the course, such as, no littering, graffiti, or abuse of equipment or environment. Represent the Sport Be positive and responsible. Teach others.

Pickleball | ||||
Due to Provincial Guidelines for COVID-19, Pickleball Programs are not available at this time. Pickleball is a paddle-racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Pickleball are offered indoor and outdoor at city’s facilities. |

Table Tennis | ||||
Table tennis, also known as ping pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth across a table using a small bat. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. |

Try-It Sport | ||||
Try-It program is a short program that will allow you to "test drive" the sport activity. Learn the rules or challenge your friends. Class will focus on the fundamentals of the sport. No experience necessary. Explore and Register - Sport |
