No Socks for Ivan |
"No Socks for Ivan" established a presence in the community in order to welcome all youth, but in particular marginalized youth, who might not otherwise become involved in their community. This benefited the community of Burlington by building social capital among its youth who demonstrated improved belonging to their community, many of whom went on to become program leaders and community volunteers. We are looking for responsible youth to help out with one of our many programs. |

Student theatre offer drama classes year-round for children and youth six to 18 years and five stage performances per season. Student Theatre brings out the best in youth through experiences in the performing arts, building confidence and developing the tools and transferable skills to help youth feel good about themselves, while empowering them to create their own lives. We are always looking for people in our community to help with stage production, performances, and music. |
Tyandaga Golf Course |
Are you a people person who enjoys meeting and interacting with the public? We are looking for friendly, people oriented volunteers over the age of 18 who have a basic knowledge of golf and are comfortable acting as an information resource. |
Youth Programs |
Our community is youth friendly and we work to give youth a place to grow and develop with friends aged 13 to 19 years. We offer programs and activities so youth can play and socialize. Some examples include recreation, sport, leisure, arts, drama, civic engagement, youth activism, volunteerism, social clubs and youth leadership.
