We would like to thank everyone for all their contributions to the Healthy Kids Community Challenge Burlington!
Burlington was one of 45 communities across Ontario taking part in Ontario’s Healthy Kids Community Challenge (HKCC). The goal of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge was to support the well-being of our children, to help create communities where it's easy for children to lead healthier lives. 45 communities across Ontario participated in the Healthy Kids Community Challenge. These communities received resources from the province including funding, training and social marketing tools to help promote: healthy eating, physical activity and healthy behaviours for children.
The City of Burlington worked with over 60 community partners in many sectors developing programs, policies and initiatives that promote and enable healthy behaviours.
