On Monday, May 6th, Burlington came together to honour our veterans and the importance of D-Day.
A sell-out crowd attended the Burlington Performing Arts Centre to join together in commemorating the upcoming 75th anniversary of D-Day (June 6th). With presentations from the local legion, families of Burlington veterans, music from the Burlington Teen Tour Band, and amazing stories and history told from the stage, our community payed tribute to the sacrifices and accomplishments of our veterans and the role they played in the liberation of Europe during WWII.
