Leaving your home for outdoor exercise is allowed. Exercise is an essential need for everyone. Under the current regulations, outdoor spaces such as the Burlington Rotary Centennial Pond, toboggan hills, artificial outdoor rinks, parks and neighbourhood outdoor rinks are allowed to be open and Winter Play Equipment Lending (curbside pick-up) can continue. According to the Provincial stay at home regulations, outdoor activities are exempt as exercise is an essential part of both physical and mental health. Basketball |
Basketball is a limited contact sport played on a rectangular court. Often played as a team sport with five players on each side, the game can also be played with three-on-three or two-on-two. |
BMX |
BMX or abbreviated to bicycle motocross or bike motocross, is a cycle sport performed on BMX bikes either in competitive racing or freestyle BMX or on or off-road recreation. |
Bocce Ball |
LaSalle Park offers the only Bocce Ball court in Burlington. It is available to use for free on a first come, first serve basis. |

Cricket |
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players each on a cricket field, which is a rectangular 22-yard-long pitch with a target called the wicket (a set of three wooden stumps topped by two bails) at each end.
