The City of Burlington offers a variety of outdoor play locations and play experiences.
Basketball is a limited contact sport played on a rectangular court. Often played as a team sport with five players on each side, the game can also be played with three-on-three or two-on-two.
BMX or abbreviated to bicycle motocross or bike motocross, is a cycle sport performed on BMX bikes either in competitive racing or freestyle BMX or on or off-road recreation.
LaSalle Park offers the only Bocce Ball court in Burlington. It is available to use for free on a first come, first serve basis.

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players each on a cricket field, which is a rectangular 22-yard-long pitch with a target called the wicket (a set of three wooden stumps topped by two bails) at each end. The cricket pitch is located in the centre of Central Park, situated behind the Burlington Public Library.
Disc golf is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf. The course at Tyandaga has nine holes, starting at tee #1.
This activity is free and open to all Burlington residents of all ages. The course will be open from January 30 to Spring 2021.
Please note, this course is not intended for organized team play at this time.
Residents will need to bring their own disc or can borrow them from the Play Equipment Lending Library (starting Feb. 2, 2021)
Disc Golf will be available seven days a week from dawn to dusk.

Our Play Equipment Lending Library provides you the opportunity to borrow a wide range of fun and unique play equipment, free of charge. There are two Splash parks that are situated inside an outdoor pool area; Nelson Pool and Splash Park and Mountainside Pool and Splash Park. Entry to this area will require admission fee.

Table tennis, also known as ping pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth across a table using a small bat.
