Can I make a booking by phone or in person? No. At this time we are asking residents to book their equipment using our online platform through liveandplay.burlington.ca. Do I have to be vaccinated to pick up or drop off the equipment? No, you are not required to be vaccinated to pick up or drop off the play equipment. Learn more about how the Province’s enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate is impacting access to City facilities. Is this equipment being cleaned and disinfected? Yes. Our staff have been trained on how to properly clean and disinfect the equipment. The equipment and its storage area will be disinfected prior to being handed out and upon return. Do you provide pick up and drop off of the equipment? The City does not provide pick up or drop off of the equipment. The borrower must return the equipment on the specified due date and to the location indicated on the lending contract. What if I lose one piece of the equipment? Your account will be charged a $50 fee to replace the item. Please take care to ensure all pieces are returned together. Can I donate equipment to the program? Yes, we will accept gently-used equipment that is transportable. Snowshoes, hiking poles, badminton, volleyball, etc. Please email us if you wish to donate. I no longer need the equipment, can I cancel? If you need to cancel your equipment reservation, please email us as soon as possible. This will allow the equipment to become available for others to book and enjoy. |
