The Burlington Animal Shelter accepts donations to its Promoting Animal Welfare (PAW) fund. Donations can include money or gifts, such as treats, Science Diet canned cat and dog food, toys, leashes, collars, carriers, liquid laundry detergent, fabric softener, paper towels and newspaper to line cages (no fliers please) to improve the quality of life of animals in our care. To make a donation, please call or visit us.
The Burlington Animal Shelter also accepts donations of Kuranda Pet Beds to provide comfort to the animals in their care. To donate a bed, please visit the Kuranda bed donation page.
The shelter provides food, care and a temporary home for many stray, sick, injured and orphaned domestic and wild animals in the Burlington community each year. Domestic animals that are not claimed are put up for adoption and wild animals are transported to a rehabilitation centre when possible. Revenue from dog licence registrations helps to provide these services and maintains our facilities and programs.
Thank you for supporting the Burlington Animal Shelter by giving a home to a deserving animal.
