We offer tours of our facility to the general public and school groups on a daily basis upon request. For groups of five or more people, please call ahead to arrange a suitable time.
Upon request, the Burlington Animal Shelter staff will provide daycare, elementary and high school visits. Sessions geared to the specific age group will cover the role of the animal shelter in the community, the local animal control bylaws, how to properly care for pets at home, bite prevention and common wildlife in the area.
The Burlington Animal Shelter accepts both morning and afternoon high school co-op students.

Animal Shelter staff attends local events throughout the year to promote the services they provide, to answer questions in regards to animal concerns and to showcase animals available for adoption. We hope you will stop by and say "Hello".
