Updates to Downtown On-street Parking As of Aug. 4, 2020, regular paid parking will return to the downtown core. Downtown visitors can pay at the parking meters or use the HonkMobile app, which is highly recommended since it is a touch free way to pay. Parking is free after 6 p.m. and on weekends and holidays. We encourage drivers to continue to abide by all other signed parking regulations such as no stopping and no parking in loading zones. Residential on-street parking permits and permits in downtown Burlington municipal lots still aren’t required until further notice, allowing parking staff to focus on emergency situations during COVID-19. Please continue to follow all parking rules, laws and signage to make sure you and the community stay safe. Reopening of services and payment – Phase 3 As the City of Burlington moves into Phase 3 COVID-19 reopenings, payment is required for on-street parking or in municipal parking lots starting Saturday, Aug. 1. Payment is accepted by cash, credit card or we recommend you use the HonkMobile app. Download the app for free and enjoy touch free payment and top-ups from anywhere. |
Note: Overnight parking is not allowed between 1 and 6 a.m.
Note: Parking fees apply at all other times, 7 days a week.
