The City of Burlington has approved a Master Plan review for Lowville Park. The Lowville Park Master Plan provides a framework for future site enhancements to support both organized and non-program activities throughout the park. The master plan document is the result of an extensive public engagement process. Thank you to the Lowville community and other park users for their participation throughout this process.
This initiative was identified in the Council-approved Parks, Recreation and Cultural Assets Master Plan, a city-wide study that established a long-term strategic vision for specific parks, recreation and cultural services initiatives. This master plan started in 2009 and will run until 2028.
Lowville Park parking lot is closed until December due to construction.
There will be NO parking accommodation for park use within the park parking lot. Parking By-Law Officers will be positioned on site to enforce the parking restriction. Vehicles parked illegally will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
As there is no parking in Lowville Park parking lot, park visitors are encouraged to visit City View Park (2500 Kearns Rd.) or Hidden Valley Park (1137 Hidden Valley Rd.) as alternatives.
The park will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists.
