Halton Region is responsible for wastewater treatment and collection in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills. The Burlington Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant at 1125 Lakeshore Road treats wastewater before safely discharging it back to receiving waters. The plant treats 93,000 cubic meters of sewage per day (m3/day).
