All Burlington Transit buses are accessible. Regular buses have low floors, can lower to the curb and can deploy a ramp to help make riding transit easier for everyone. For customers who need more assistance when traveling, Handi-Van, a specialized transit service, is available.

Vehicles displaying an Ontario Accessible Parking Permit may park at all Municipal locations without having to pay the required standard parking fees, for the maximum time allowed in accessible or regular spaces. These downtown locations include:

The Council chambers at City Hall are equipped with a wide-area FM transmitter that automatically changes FM users' personal receivers to the frequency used in the chambers. Don't have a personal
receiver? No problem - the City has them available for loan.

Captioning provides benefits to all Burlington residents, especially to those who have hearing loss. Captioning is broadcast on TVCogeco, can be viewed on the large screen televisions in Council Chambers and is archived in our meeting webcasts on the City's website.
