Francis Road Bikeway Renewal

Trail closed during construction July to November 2019

The City of Burlington is improving the Francis Road Bikeway for better:

• Accessibility,
• Safety,
• Multi-use,
• Connectivity and
• Active Transportation.

The renewed trail will include:

• a four metre-wide paved surface,
• more gradual slopes - less than 4 per cent,
• benches every 150 metres,
• garbage cans,
• bollards and curb ramps at intersections and
• trailhead signs.

For your safety, the trail will be closed during construction.
