Settlement approved for an 11-storey mixed-use building which includes 170 residential units; 324 square metres of commercial space on the ground floor and 122 square metres of office and business centre space on the second floor. A density of 446 units per hectare was approved as part of the Settlement. The approved proposal includes access off Guelph Line and two levels of underground parking.

418 Waldemar Inc. – 420 Guelph Line – Ward 2 At their meeting of Oct. 6, 2021, Burlington City Council approved the recommendation of Confidential Legal Report L-24-21 to accept an offer to settle the appeals of 418 Waldemar Inc. to the Ontario Land Tribunal based on the planning overview set out in Amended Appendix ‘B’ to L-24-21.Council approved the recommendation that Amended Appendix ‘B’ to L-24-21 be released publicly and posted on the City’s webpage under Planning and Development Applications for Ward 2, while retaining solicitor/client privilege over the balance of this matter in its entirety. The settlement proposal is for an 11-storey mixed-use building consisting of 446 m² of commercial at grade with 170 residential units above. The settlement between the City and 418 Waldemar Inc. resolves the issues in dispute between the City and 418 Waldemar Inc. on the basis that they will seek OLT approval of a revised development proposal for the subject lands.
