Applications were submitted in March 2004 to amend the Official Plan and rezone lands at 799 Fothergill Blvd. and 5885 Prince William Dr. (now 800 and 700 Burloak Dr.) to permit the development of a large-scale neighbourhood commercial shopping area.
The concept plan proposed four buildings with 5,385 m2 of retail and service commercial uses on the northerly lot that is designated General Employment in the Official Plan.
A multi-tenant commercial building and two free-standing buildings (2,568 m2) were proposed for the southerly lot that is designated Neighbourhood Commercial.
