Parking Exemption in a "3-hour Parking Limit" Area ONLY

The City of Burlington offers "temporary on-street parking" as a short-term solution to residents who may have parking needs that can not be fulfilled in their garage or on their driveway. In order to accommodate these situations, the City has approved the following policy:

Permission may be granted for a vehicle to park only in a "3-Hour limit" area exceeding this time period for a maximum of 15 days per vehicle plate per year only.

Unless signed otherwise, vehicles parked on a street for more than 3-hours are subject to a parking ticket unless permission has been granted by Parking Services prior to the ticket being issued.

Should you receive a ticket for a "3-hour limit" offence after you requested the Exemption, contact Parking Services at 905-335-7816 during business hours and inform the Clerk.

Parking Exemptions are NOT in effect during snow-clearing or road maintenance operations.
