The Burloak Drive Grade Separation is a project to build an underpass to separate vehicle and rail movement.
The underpass will enhance public safety in advance of GO Transit’s planned 15-minute all-day service on the Lakeshore West GO line, which will see up to eight trains crossing Burloak Drive every hour, in addition to regular VIA and freight trains.
The addition of turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and improved connectivity for active modes of travel will also be included in this project.
Construction activities are underway and the project is estimated to be completed by mid-2026.
For ongoing updates on the project, please visit the Metrolinx website.

Location Map - Millcroft subdivision resurfacingLocation Map - Aldridge Crescent curb repairsThe City of Burlington will be rehabilitating road surfaces in your area which are in poor condition. This project is an annual program to resurface asphalt roadways before further deterioration leads to a compromised underlying base and sub-base layers of the pavement structure which can lead to a more costly partial or full reconstruction of the roadway.
Roads identified in this program will have their asphalt surface removed and replaced which will extend their service life and delay more costly treatments. Also included will be isolated curb and sidewalk repairs/replacement where required.
