The City of Burlington will be working to implement roadway, sidewalk, and intersection improvements on Mount Forest Drive between Mountain Side Drive and Fisher Avenue. This will include full depth asphalt replacement, full curb and gutter replacement, focused concrete sidewalk repairs and storm sewer repairs on the limits shown on the location map.
In addition, as part of the Mount Forest Drive Project, the City of Burlington will be completing resurfacing work on Mountain Grove Ave and Meadowbrook Road. This work will include a 50mm shave and pave of the roadway asphalt as well as spot curb and sidewalk repairs.

The City of Burlington will be making improvements on Deerhurst Drive in 2025. City work includes asphalt replacement, localized curb and sidewalk repairs, and street light replacements, including two new street light poles.
Construction will begin in late April / early May and conclude in September.
The City of Burlington has awarded this project to Gazzola Paving Limited.

Residents and business are invited to attend an open house for Burloak Drive and the new detour road.

The Burloak Drive Grade Separation is a project to build an underpass to separate vehicle and rail movement.
The underpass will enhance public safety in advance of GO Transit’s planned 15-minute all-day service on the Lakeshore West GO line, which will see up to eight trains crossing Burloak Drive every hour, in addition to regular VIA and freight trains.
The addition of turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and improved connectivity for active modes of travel will also be included in this project.
Construction activities are underway and the project is estimated to be completed by mid-2026.

Walkers Line culvert, south of Britannia - July to October 2025
Britannia Road culvert, west of Walkers Line - July to October 2026
The City of Burlington will be replacing two existing stormwater culverts on Walkers Line (south of Britannia Road) and Britannia Road (west of Walkers Line).
The Walkers Line culvert will be replaced during the summer 2025. The work will include the removal of the existing corrugated steel pipe culvert and replacement with a concrete box culvert system. As part of this project, roadway improvements will be made including localized roadway repaving and steel beam guiderail installation.

The City of Burlington will be performing maintenance repairs to the existing culvert on Ironstone Drive, north of Corporate Drive. The project will address structural repair elements highlighted through the City’s structure inspection program.
During construction activities, full road closures are not anticipated. Temporary access restrictions, if required will be communicated in advance of the work.
