A development application has been submitted for a Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone the lot containing an existing single detached dwelling, to facilitate construction of a new larger single detached dwelling. The new dwelling is proposed to have a maximum building height of 3 storeys (23.39 metres) and an area of 26,000 square feet (2,500 square metres).

The applicant is proposing to amend the Zoning By-law to allow a semi-detached dwellings of two (2) storeys in height fronting onto Cottonwood Drive. The development includes two (2) parking spaces per unit and a density of approximately 28 units per net hectare. The proposed development also requires amendments for: reduced lot width, lot area, rear yard and street side yard, as well as height increase and to permit a maximum of one driveway per semi-detached dwelling unit.
